Laura Schuyler on Friday, January 25, 2013.  Born in Boston, MA. she lived in Forest Hills, N.Y. and Hewlett Harbor, Long Island for 40 years before moving to Springfield, N.J. in 1990.  She held a bachelor’s degree from Simmons College, Boston, MA..  She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Schuyler and the devoted mother of Henry BenZion Schuyler of Alburquerque, NM. and Dr. Andrew (and Jacqueline) Schuyler of Springfield, N.J..  Dear sister of Shirley Zaval of Boston, MA., and Joyce Freedlander of Florida, adored grandmother of Adam David and Charles Benjamin and doting great-grandmother of Ari and Evan. She was a life member of Hadassah of Springfield, Hazaak of Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael of Springfield.  She served as a docent for the Newark Museum in Newark, N.J. and the Metropolitan Museum in New York City for many years..  She also volunteered at the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, N.J. and at the Springfield Public Library.
