Howard Spialter Will Be Sitting Shiva:
Howard Spialter will be sitting shiva on Tuesday, after the interment at the home of Rae Rubin, 3301 Applewood Drive, Freehold, N.J..  There will be minyan services at her residence at 6:00 p.m.  Thereafter he will be sitting shiva at his home, 715 Dartmoor, Westfield, N.J. through Sunday evening with minyan services at 7:30 p.m. each evening exclusive of Friday night.

Daniel Spialter Will Be Sitting Shiva:

Daniel Spialter will be sitting shiva immediately after the interment at Congregation Etz Chaim, 1 Lafayette Avenue, Livingston, N.J. from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m..  There will be Mincha and Ma'ariv services beginning at 5:30 p.m..  He will return to Israel where he will continue sitting shiva through Monday morning at 8 Tzifmun Street, Ra'anana. 

Spialter on Monday, February 27, 2012, Dr. Millard of Westfield.  Beloved husband of the late Sydell (nee Lampert).  Devoted mother of Howard Spialter, Esq. of Westfield and  Daniel Spialter of Ra’anana, Israel.  Dear brother of Leonard Spialter.  Adored grandfather of Kayli, Zal, Ben, Aviv, Noam, Eitan and Gil.  Dr. Spialter held a Ph.D. in engineering from Newark College of Engineering (now New Jersey Institute of Technology).  He also held a B.S. and M.S. from N.C.E. as well as an M.S. from Brooklyn Polytech. He was the owner of Progressive Manufacturing Company in Newark, New Jersey from 1961 until his retirement in 2001.  He served in the Merchant Marines from 1944 to 1945 and attained the rank of ensign.  He was a member of Zionist Organization of America, the N.J.I.T. Alumni Association, the Men’s Club of Temple Beth O’r, Clark, N.J., B’nai B’rith of Union, Jewish War Veterans Elin Ungar Post, United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism, the N.J. Society of Engineers and was a Life Member of Hadassah.
