Allan Forman on Thursday, July 11, 2013.  Born in Newark, N.J. he lived in Union until 1966 when he moved to Springfield. He lived in Springfield with his late wife, Frances and raised his daughter, the late Diane Forman and his son Howard and his wife Marjorie Forman of Parsippany, N.J..   He is also survived by his brother, Jules Forman of Manheim, P.A., and his sister, Bea Kalb, of DelRay Beach, FL., as well as his beloved grandson Zachary Forman. He received a B.S. from New York University, N.Y., N.Y. in accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant and Partner in the accounting firm of Granet and Granet of Union, where he worked for over 40 years.  Though he retired 15 years ago he continued to work privately as a C.P.A. until his death.  A World War II U.S. Army veteran he served in the European Theater during the war as an accountant and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.   In addition to his work as a C.P.A. he was also an active and avid investor in the stock market. 

SHIVA:  Shiva will be observed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Forman, 3 Benjamin Court, Parsippany, N.J. 07054 with minyan services at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and on Monday with minyan services at 6:00 p.m..
