Beatrice F. Citron died peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2015 after a sudden illness.  She was 88. Born in Buffalo, New York she lived in Miami, Hollywood and Tamarac Florida until 1985 when she and her beloved husband, the late, Ernest Citron, relocated to Scottsdale AZ, where they lived until 2003 when she moved to Verona, N.J..  Mrs. Citron relocated to West Orange, N.J. seven years ago.  A graduate of State Teachers College in Buffalo, New York (now part of SUNY, Buffalo) she had been a first grade school teacher for 20 years in Dade County Florida, and had been known for teaching Chanukah songs to the children of Opa Locka, Florida each year for their winter concert.  She was also known for her volunteer work making recordings for the blind.  She is survived by a son, Dr. Barry (Dr. Cheryl) Citron of Montclair, N.J. and two grandsons, Lee of Los Angeles, CA. and Jeffrey Citron of Montclair, N.J..
