Leah B. Eisenberg died peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2014 after a lengthy illness.  She was 87.  Born in Newark, N.J. she moved to Maplewood in 1959 and then Short Hills in 1975.  She earned a Bachelor's degree in Art History graduating Magna Cum Laude from Kean University. She was the secretary to the Rabbi at Oheb Shalom Congregation in South Orange, N.J.for a short time.  Previously, she worked for the Beneficial Finance Company as the Secretary to the Vice-President.  She was a member of Hadassah, the Sisterhood of Oheb Shalom Congregation and the Maplewood P.T.A..  She is survived by her beloved husband, Sheldon Eisenberg, of Short Hills, her devoted children Robert L. (Daisy) of Cool, CA., Paul (Donna) Eisenberg of Morris Plains, N.J. and Richard L. (Erika) Eisenberg of New Paltz, New York as well as four grandchildren, Aaron, Matthew, Julia and Giselle.
