Dr. Laurence E. (aka Larry) Weil, DDS passed away after a brief illness.  He was 82.  Born in New York, N.Y., he lived in Brooklyn, Queens, and Union, N.J. before moving to Warren, N.J. over 20 years ago.  He earned a B.S. from New York University and a D.D.S. from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School.  While in Dental School he was inducted into Sigma Epsilon Delta, the National Dental Honor Society.  He was a dentist in private practice in Jersey City, N.J. for over 50 years. He was a member of the American and N.J. Dental Societies, the Elks Club of Union, N.J., B’nai B’rith of Springfield, Temple Israel of Union, N.J. and its Men’s Club as well as Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael of Springfield and its Men’s Club.  He was also a supporter of the Newark and Jersey City PBA.  He is survived by his wife, Arlene Weil of Warren, N.J., his daughters, Simone (Robert) Karlsberg of Warren and Jill (Richard) Weil Hirsch of Bridgewater, as well as four grandchildren, and his brother-in-law, Sandy Bloom of Warren.
