Family and friends will gather for one hour prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Interment: Newark Jewish Cemeteries, McClellan Street, Newark, N.J.

Shiva: Following the interment a Repast will be hosted by the family at West 22 Diner, 272 U.S. 22 West, Springfield, N.J. 07081
and then Shiva will be observed at the home of Ann and Harold Brown, 18 Hughes Place, Summit, N.J. 07901, Monday through Thursday with Minyan services each evening at 8:00 p.m..

Simon Grindlinger passed away peacefully at home after a brave battle against cancer.  He was 77 years old.  He had worked for 9 years as the Maintenance Manager for the Dow Chemical Company plant in Piscataway, N.J..  Previously and while at Dow Chemical he also worked as a self-employed electrical contractor.  Born in Newark, he lived in New York before moving to Mountainside in 1976.  He was a member of the Summit Jewish Community Center, Summit, N.J. and had been a member of its Men's Club.  He is survived by his beloved wife Colleen (nee Dossie), and his devoted daughters Shana Mae and Samantha Grindlinger all of Mountainside, his dear son, George Moshe Grindlinger of New Brunswick and his loving sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Harold Brown of Summit, N.J..  He is also predeceased by his late brother Benjamin Grindlinger.
